Unhinged is a first-person immersive horror experience for Netflix. Well Told joined the production to provide animation support and motion-capture cleanup. We also supported in broader technical tasks such as rigging and dynamic simulations.
A portion of our work was keyframed from the ground up. Pre-production involved finding game reference, and recording in-person capture to align with the Netflix team.
We were also provided raw motion capture data to cleanup for handoff and seamless integration for the project.
We ran a flexible, scalable pod, scaling up when production demanded it. That let us meet shifting scope and quality targets as the project needed them, without the team ever becoming the bottleneck.
